Backlink viewer for people who live in the terminal

Quicklinky answers link questions in one line of curl, one cell of Sheets or one click on a bookmarklet. The index holds 181,132,097 domains, and $100 of credit comes free.

  • Four actions need no key at all
  • Most calls cost 1 or 2 credits ($0.0001 each)
  • JSON out, CORS open, paste-and-run
GET /api.php?action=domainJSON

$ curl "https://quicklinky.com/api.php?action=overview&q=nytimes.com&key=sk_live_..."

What it is for

A backlink viewer you can run in one line

Most link questions are small. Is this domain strong, who points at it, did my new link land? You should not need a dashboard login for that.

  • Curl, no key

domain, overview, stats and suggest are free and keyless. Paste a line, read the JSON, move on.

  • Bookmarklet

One saved bookmark runs the free lookup on whatever tab you are staring at.

  • Sheets column

Score 2,000 domains per call with bulk_dr and a short Apps Script. The log-scale DR formula also works offline in plain cells.

  • Competitor overlap

intersect takes 2 to 10 domains and returns who links to all of them. Two credits per call.

Two lines to start

The first needs nothing. The second needs the key from your account page, which appears after Google sign-in.

bash
# free, no key
curl "https://quicklinky.com/api.php?action=overview&q=nytimes.com"

# 2 credits, 100 rows
curl "https://quicklinky.com/api.php?action=backlinks&q=nytimes.com&per=100&key=sk_live_..."

Checklist

Before you trust a number

  • The link graph refreshes about once a month, so a link placed last week may be missing
  • DR is our own 0-100 log scale, not Ahrefs DR and not Moz DA
  • A 401 means the key is missing or wrong, a 402 means the credit ran out
  • Each call is billed once however many rows come back
  • Keywords and rank tracking live in Ahrefs or Semrush, not here

Where it fits

Fast link facts, not a full suite

Use this when the question is about links and you want the answer inside a script. Reach for Ahrefs or Semrush when you need keyword research, rank tracking or a daily-fresh crawl.

  • Ahrefs API units sit inside plans from $129 a month for 200,000 units
  • Here a credit is $0.0001 and nothing renews
  • The cost breakdown has the maths per action

How it works

From zero to first row in four moves

  1. 1

    Sign in with Google

It is the only login. The $100 credit lands on sign-up, and no card is asked for.

  2. 2

    Copy the key

It starts with sk_. Send it as key= or as an Authorization: Bearer header.

  3. 3

    Run a free line first

Check overview on a domain you know. Compare the number with your gut before you spend anything.

  4. 4

    Spend credits on rows

Move to backlinks or bulk_dr once the shape of the JSON is clear.

Who it is for

Where the data comes from

Everything here is built from our own crawler and our own index. The graph covers 181,132,097 domains and 2,774,625,913 domain-to-domain links, which adds up to about 798.5 billion backlinks. It is rebuilt roughly monthly.

That cadence matters. A link you built on Monday will not show tomorrow, so use the viewer to watch trends and to audit, and use a manual page check to confirm a single fresh placement. Pairs well with the error cheat table when a call misbehaves.

Who runs this? A small team that likes shell prompts. Details are on the about page, and the formal bits sit under terms and privacy.

FAQ

Quick questions

What is a backlink viewer and which part is free?
It is a tool that lists the pages linking to a domain. Here the lookups called domain, overview, stats and suggest need no key. Row-level lists such as backlinks cost 2 credits, and the $100 sign-up credit covers about half a million of them.
Can I check one domain without signing in?
Yes. The free actions accept a plain GET with q= and no key. You get totals and the DR for that domain. Lists of individual linking pages need a key, because they use credits.
How do I test a backlink after I place it?
Pull backlinks for the target and grep the source domain, but remember the index refreshes about monthly. A miss on day three proves nothing. Open the live page for the real answer, and re-run the pull next month.
Does it replace Ahrefs or Semrush?
No. Those two are fuller products with keywords, rank tracking and a fresher crawl. This is link data at a small per-call price, meant for scripts and sheets where a seat licence would be silly.
What does one call cost at scale?
A thousand 1-credit calls cost $0.10. A thousand 2-credit calls cost $0.20. Each call is billed once however many rows return, up to 1,000 rows. There is no monthly fee.
How do I pay once the free credit is gone?
Top up in USDT (TRC-20) from the account page. Credit is prepaid and nothing renews on its own. When the balance hits zero, calls return HTTP 402 until you add more.
Is the DR the same as Ahrefs DR?
No. Ours is round(100 log(ref_domains + 1) / log(2 10^7)), a public formula on a log scale. Use it to compare domains inside this tool, not to match another vendor's number.
